Final-year Environmental Science student at University of Toronto Mississauga. I build AI models, analyse ecological corridors, and bridge conservation science with business strategy.
About
I'm a 24-year-old based in Mississauga, combining environmental science fieldwork with practical AI development. From training object-detection models on elephant camera-trap data in Kenya, to mapping community service gaps in Peel Region — I like problems that sit at the intersection of data and real-world impact.
My longer-term focus is on ESG intelligence, agentic AI workflows, and conservation technology. I'm currently graduating in June 2026 and open to roles in strategy, sustainability consulting, and tech.
Projects
Conservation AI · Field Research
Trained a custom YOLOv8 object-detection model on ~5,000 annotated camera-trap images across three sites in the 14 km Lewa–Ngare Ndare corridor. Built Python post-processing scripts for batch inference, centroid-based movement classification, and CSV export. Achieved ~91% accuracy for elephants.
Community Research · Data Analysis
Co-led a five-person team for Family Services of Peel, mapping 31 PDSB community programs across four service areas. Identified structural gaps in support for marginalized youth, newcomers, and students with disabilities. Findings used in FSP's planning process.
Agribusiness · Operations
Supported data systems and field logistics coordination for a Nairobi-based agribusiness during a summer internship. Produced management briefings translating technical field findings into operational decisions.
Experience
Family Services of Peel — Mississauga, ON
Volunteer leadership role conducting community needs assessments across Peel Region, facilitating intake interviews and managing service gap analysis for senior staff.
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy — Isiolo, Kenya
Developed and deployed a custom wildlife object-detection model across a 14 km elephant corridor. Built data pipelines for camera trap batch processing and movement classification.
Kumea Agribusiness — Nairobi, Kenya
Coordinated field logistics, managed client-facing data requests, and prepared operational briefings for senior management.
